will.i.am: Never Silent

Will.i.am, known for his group the Black Eyed Peas, is also a music producer for other well-known singers/bands. Music has been part of his life since he was a child, but his music career took off in 1988 when he formed the Black Eyed Peas.

You may think it was passion, talent, and dedication that drove Will.i.am to record music today. While that is certainly part of it, a large reason he got into the music industry was because music is only thing that silences the sounds in his head.

Will.i.am suffers from tinnitus and has since he was young. He battles it by listening to music and singing as often as he can. Many people with tinnitus also have a hearing loss, but Will.i.am makes no mention of that. However, battling tinnitus and constant exposure to music may someday lead to that, unfortunately.
